With support of GBP, Invest Hong Kong held a "Hong Kong: Your Gateway to China" in collaboration with KOTRA in Seoul and Busan for two days on April 19 (Wed) and April 20 (Thu). Mr. Francis Ho, Associate Director-General, Ms. Loretta Lee, Head of Events team, and Ms. Cindy Cheng, Manager of Events team from Invest Hong Kong visited Korea.

Delegations from Invest Hong Kong explained about Hong Kong's overall business environment, opportunities, and support from the IHK through meetings with Korean companies considering of business expansion into Hong Kong and China. The seminar was designed to present the 20th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China and the Korea-Hong Kong business outlook following the launch of a new Hong Kong administrative chief and strategies for entering the Hong Kong-China mainland market. Both seminars were held successfully, with 251 people (Seoul event) and 111 people (Busan event) participating, respectively.

GBP has represented Invest Hong Kong in South Korean market since January 2016.
