Mrs. Deborah
Scherer, Senior Vice President of One Columbus, visited Korea from February 19
to 21, 2025, and held meetings with various Korean companies exploring
expansion opportunities in the United States. During her visit, One Columbus
participated in SEMICON Korea 2025 at COEX in Seoul and engaged with leading
players in Korea’s semiconductor industry. One Columbus
is a public-private partnership dedicated to advancing economic development in
the Columbus Region of Ohio, focusing on fostering growth in
advanced
manufacturing and innovation-driven industries, particularly in the
semiconductor, electric vehicle, and battery sectors. One Columbus
and JobsOhio jointly promoted Ohio’s semiconductor industry and investment
opportunities during SEMICON Korea 2025, while presenting
customized programs
and incentives to actively supportKorean companies expanding into Ohio. Through participation in SEMICON Korea 2025, One Columbus and JobsOhio engaged
with a wide range of Korean semiconductor companies, building foundations for
future strategic collaboration. As the Korea
