On March 12, 2018, the Louisiana Economic Development(LED) held a seminar and 1:1 consultation with the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry on "Opportunity Louisiana: Strategy for North American Market." 

The event was designed to effectively and efficiently respond to growing inquiries about U.S. market entry. Donald 'Don' M. Pierson, president of LED, Executive director Larry Collins, Manager Ben Fontenot, President of the New Orleans Port Brandy Christian, and Vice President Landry Bobby Landry visited Korea for this event. After the seminar, LED gave in-depth guidance to Korean companies considering to expand into the U.S. market through a 1:1 consultation. 81 people participated in the event, including Korean company officials and LED delegation.
