Led by
Commissioner Russ Boles, the Williamson County, Texas Economic Development
Partnership (WilCo EDP) delegation visited Korea from February 17 to 21, 2025. During the visit, Global Business & Partners (GBP) arranged meetings with
potential investors and key multipliers, providing opportunities for the
delegation to introduce the business environment and advantages of Williamson
County. The
delegation also visited SEMICON Korea 2025, where they promoted the county’s
dynamic business environment and new opportunities. Lee Sang-il, Mayor of
Yongin, facilitated meetings with promising semiconductor companies from Yongin
exhibiting at SEMICON Korea and hosted a welcome dinner for the delegation to
further strengthen the partnership between the two regions. In addition,
the delegation participated in a meetup event hosted by the Proptech Forum,
where they introduced Williamson County to industry leaders and potential
partners. For
