On October 23, 2025, JobsOhio Korea consultant Jiyun Choi and Jehyun Lee from Global Business & Partners (GBP) attended Seoul ADEX 2025 Business Day at KINTEX and reached out to Korean Aerospace and Defense companies considering business expansion into the United States.
Seoul ADEX stands as Korea's premier airshow and Aerospace/Defense exhibition with held every 2 years. This year's ADEX boasted its largest scale ever with over 600 exhibitors from 35 countries showcasing state-of-the-art technology, for a total turnout of 263,283 visitors.
The exhibition saw booming business not just for the industry giants such as Hanwha Aerospace, LIG Nex1, and Hyundai Rotem, but also smaller scale companies acting as suppliers and partners. Drones and AI integration was a major topic for exhibitors, alongside space exploration as an upcoming endeavor. With overseas exports increasing and demand for cutting edge Korean technology ever-increasing, we saw great expansion potential for future of Korean Defense and Aerospace industry.
