On September 13 and 14, 2017, Simon Galpin, Managinc Director of Bahrain Economic Development Board, visited Korea for two days. During his visit to Korea, GBP arranged meetings with Korean companies interested in entering the Middle East and promoted Bahrain's business environment. GBP also supported in arranging a media interview with the Korean economy to guide business opportunities such as infrastructure, fintech, and startups in Bahrain.
