From March 5
to 7, 2025, a delegation organized by the Ministry of Economic Development, Job
Creation and Trade of Ontario, Canada, visited Korea to attend InterBattery
2025 at COEX in Seoul. The delegation included government officials and
representatives from leading Ontario-based companies, aiming to promote business collaboration and technological exchanges with Korean companies. InterBattery
2025 is Asia’s largest exhibition specializing in rechargeable batteries,
providing a global platform for showcasing the latest technologies and market
trends across electric vehicles (EVs), energy storage systems (ESS), materials,
and components. The event brought together major automakers, battery
manufacturers, and materials suppliers from around the world to explore global
market expansion and partnership opportunities. During the
exhibition, Ontario companies engaged in active meetings with various Korean
firms, focusing on areas such as technology cooperation, business
collaboration, and the exploration of future joint opportunities in the EV and battery sectors. This initiative further strengthened industrial ties between
Ontario and Korea and laid a solid foundation for mutual growth in the global
market. For Ontario companies interested in expanding into the Korean market, please feel free to contact: Euna Cho, Consultant
